Bank of Hollywood

This new show in my opinion isn't going to last more than 2 seasons if that. Its a another attempt at the fab show BBC America came out with called Dragon's Den which now America has created our version called The Shark Tank.
Plus the Power panel here isn't the top echelon you'd expect.

The Power Panel
Candy Spelling-widower of Aaron Spelling
Vanessa Rousso-World's top poker player
Melody Thornton-PussyCat Doll
Sean Patterson-President of Wilhelmina Model Agency

The guests invited can ask for any amount of money, for any reason and if they get the majority's vote from the panel we will receive the money otherwise they've embarrassed themselves and go home empty handed.

Episode #1
I missed will fix when it re runs, sorry!

Episode #2
First up:
Sabrina and son Robert asks for $8750.00
For: Ability to represent the USA in the World Tap Olympics
Now this kid was a Gregory Hines mini ,I even gave him an A+

Panel vote: Yes

Second up: Stephanie and Michael asks for $75,000.00 for their wedding!
Firstly their not even engaged, both out of work, and have been dating for 2.5 yrs.
My reply, Hell NO, suffer like the rest of us and earn your own freakin wedding!
Sean said it perfectly "They allowed their love to be defined by a dollar amount!"

Panel vote: No

Third up:Debi Carideo asks for $31,997.50
For: Half of the money needed to send her daughter to a commerical pilot school, which has always been her daughters dream, and with the license she wants to work for the California Fire Service. Now poor mom hasn't seen her daughter in 3 months, so surprise they show her a message from her daughter. Now the only problem with asking for the money is she inadvertently tells the power panel that she's been scammed twice before in her life, once through real estate and the second by another pilot school.
UH OH!
This immediately causes a delay in the judges decision and she is asked to wait so they can deliberate further and will ask her back at the end of the show with a final decision.

Fourth up: Cheryl Martin asks for $84,000.00
LOL she's dressed like Madonna and oddly enough she wants the money to travel around and follow Madonna on her World tour, and will probably attend 20 plus shows to watch and hand out tickets to people in each city.
The power panel, finds this strangely odd and Melody makes a stalker remark.

With a quick decision by panel, Sean says NO and mutters Not a prayer of a chance!

Fifth up: Timothy Wilcox ask for $21,425.00
For: To run, compete, and win the 2010 Ms. Gay USA at Large Pageant.
For all appearance sake he's a cross dresser. He claims the hand produce costumes, travel expenses and entry fees would cost this much but doesn't mean he will win. Later we find out he's an ex-con and served a 18 month stint, and this is his way of turning his life around.

Power panel: sorry had it been a smaller amount perhaps but at this large amount No.

Drew Pokorny asks for $12,500.00
For: taking him and his mom a breast cancer survivor on a European Vacation Cruise for 10 days.

Power Panel says: Yes

Spencer Mroz asks for $93,750.00
For: A home swimming pool. He and his mother were hit by a drunk driver and he is wheel chair bound and says that aqua therapy may and has been proven to help rebound patients with his similar spinal injuries. He shows empathy for what happened to his life, and knows that through faith he can overcome anything. His straight forwardness and honesty brings the panel to tears and they reward him without even a thought.

Jason a.k.a. JJ The Balloon Guy asks for $15,000.00
For: The ability to afford to travel to all the Children Hospitals in North America and cheer up the children with his amazing talent of balloon artistry. He was inspired by an incident one time when he went to visit a friend and saw a child depressed so he made her a balloon gift and saw how her mood was raised.
Power Panel votes: Yes

Lastly we return back to Debi Carideo, Power panel votes witht he stipulation they will personally deliver the check to the Pilot school. And of course surprise surprise your daughter here from Puerto Rico.

So what do you think, me the show isn't great, sure it may help some people, but......they did give away nearly 200k in this show only. P.S. I thought Candy Spelling was broke? oh wait no she just didn't let her daughter get a dime of her inheritance, Maybe Tori should go on the show!

Now they did say which may interest some of you that they are holding a Online
